WiMAX is the latest name u wanna get associated to if u wanna stay cool.

It’s a wireless access based technology shooting over long distance broadband network.
Kinda like Streamyx, only it’s wireless. And more tolerable than the usual WiFI access cuz the coverage is s’posed to be enormous, just like cell phone coverage. (kinda like whut 3G network is supposed to be lar..)

It also goes by the IEEE name 802.16 or if u wanna have ‘Bloody Nerd’ stamped on to yr forehead.. call it by its full name Worldwide Interoperability for Microwave Access.

So erm, whut I was psyched to find out is how the hell issit better than 3G cuz the people here at the land of M is still scrambling for cover when they hear the word 3G and all of a sudden the govt. is dangling the Wimax tender opening carrot- baits to the donkeys.

So let’s face the facts:

1) Wimax data connection up to 75Mbps (pheww) while 3G is up to 1.5Mbps (tipuuuuu x pnah sampai ponnn ) so by speed alone it has toppled down the 3G network empire.

2) Given the fact that the govt. has yet to award the Wimax license to the competing telcos here… the network’s probably gonna be up n running a good 1 to 3 years from now (faster if the NGN network can be successfully deployed soon).. and by that time, ev’ry Tom, Jack and Abdul will probably have their own lil’ pink 3G phones already.

3) Come Wimax, ev’ry other voice call will probably be made over IP.. hail Skype users n other cheepos. (tried this over 3G – DO NOT bother.)

Can’t wait to see our phones n laptops becomes obsolete accessories to the upcoming techs.. and while waiting for that, let’s just ponder why I need high speed wireless connection..

1. read One Piece online

2. read One Piece new episode online

3. read One….err..maybe I don’t really need it.

And I still haven’t managed to bore myself to sleep yet..

…blink..

…blink..

…blink..blink…

(apsal la diorang ni smer tgk citer hindustan je..someone pls just kill me now)

6 hours to 0800.. and counting..

baby- rebirth~

Posted by vash1282 on 12/28/2006 07:21:00 AM
well.. i got a new baby. it's white and although i'll never be able to have a pink handphone again (housing only avail. in black or white) it's got all the same function as the previous baby. and more.only... i lost the phonebook..(the only number i memorised is my dad's - how's that for photographic memory? )
[just pls msg all yr numbers to my old number ok!! simcard just got activated today~]

and the black cloud's moving my way once more, igniting unwelcomed sparks..hoping that it won't stay long~ i was a sentimental fool for regretting those lost memories. I thot i had a strong shield, but it crumbled down again and well.. i'm rebuilding (thnx frens 4 yr supports). Timber!!

owh.. here's my hometown..whut's left of it... driving back tomorrow~ lalalala (^_^)\/

i hate 1utama.
i know i'm in no position to say this since i spent half of my life there. but yesterday! ain't the crowd sposed to be opening up presents under their xmas trees and get eggnog drunk and sit around the church praying for a white xmas and definitely NOT SPOSED TO go filling up parking spaces in shopping malls!

and why, GoD, why is there a thief lurking around the racks of overpriced jackets (i know it never snowed in M'sia, it's just preparation when I go to Korea to court wonbin. and I know i've sworn not to buy 'nymore jackets for the next err..100 years,but..)yes.. i'm blaming it all on the sales and jackets and crowds and of cuz,1utama.

arghhhhhhhhhhh it's not just the phone i'm pissed off about!(i know i spent ev'ry waking and sleeping moment wiffit) it's ev'rythign else inside!!! the msgs i cared about, the videos, the pics, ev'ry bloody thing.even the silvery pink hellokitty tags on it. nak kene update phonebook lagi! arghhhh

and the icing on the cake is.. altho bloody celcom managed to block the simcard, they can't block 3G usage (what the %&&$#$@!it's the same bloody simcard aint it?) so if the freaking thief has a brain he'll spend these few days streaming, video caling and surfing, and it's all on me. geezz..have a surfing spree why don't ya!and i hope u burn in hell.

i know i sumtimes hate my brothers and kicked them to death- only they are all irritatingly invincible so they don't die, but he'd better come back home soon. My mom's livid wif anger cuz he didn't bring any thick blanket wif him when he went out wif his friends (know any 16yrs old teenage who would? exactly.) and now that he's stranded somewhere for 2 days cuz of the flood..all i can say is. he'd better just come home bfore mom morphed into permanent Darth Vader mode.

stress free

Posted by vash1282 on 12/10/2006 09:20:00 AM
The company sent me to a 2-days stress management course ~ it's an office get-away sorta thingy.too bad they din't send me to de-stress in korea.. i'll come back 120% stress-free for sure!! (and maybe bringing wonbin back too... hehe)

It's justifiable to spend valuable RMs in stress mgmt courses even when yr office does not have enuff budget to by A4 papers. You see, this is to ensure yr employees would not get so stressed out as to go picketing and burning the whole building down.Of course, this is despite knowing the common knowledge that people will go picketing anyhow if you threatened to ban their morning coffee breaks…my point is, thank you Company, for paying the instructors to show me the professional way of blaming everything on stress).Sumhow.. i chalked up a real high score on a stress test, benchmarking my stress level at just before the burnout stage.

At this point; all the stress signals are supposed to have already shown itself (gastrics/stomach ulcer/migraines/ clumsiness/forgetfullness/etc/etc)--> told ya ev'thing can be blamed on stress.

hmmph.. let's see now. what am i sposed to be all stressed out about?

#5. Finance? : well yeah. Stress factor. When can I buy my dream car without having to eat grass n roots ev’dayy? (my car crashed again this week. Damn that Toyota Harrier driver.tau la keta aku kecik je..jangan la buat2 tak nampak plakkkk..)

#4. The local malay-translated comic books production seems to have hit an all time
standstill.. (been how many months issit since the last Hunter x Hunter and
Gashbell???? arghhhh!!!! Korang nak jual komik ke tanak ni??)

#3. The fact that there's no cinema in the new mall across the street (tadek sposen pon cinema kat area putrajaya/cyberjaya nih!.putting all my hopes in the other new mall still under construction )

#2. work? : (haven't been here long enuff to rate the new boss yet haha) task-wise? Nah….

#1. The sllooow rate of updates on One Piece manga online– good God I wished they can update a new ep. every 2 days at least! It’s the only way us leechers could live a stress free life! Tu la dulu orang suh blaja Japanese language tu bebetol, malas… kan dah terpaksa mendependkan kehidupan kepada pemalas2 yg lain..

Anyway, I did learn some useful stuffs, Number one, stress-free life ain’t ever possible. Number Two, some filthy rich ladies in KL actually paid RM5k++ to get themselves hypnothized, for self-motivation purposes (listennnn to my voice, when I snapped my fingers, you will wake up as Donald Trump, efficient, driven and have a crush on yr own daughter..). Number Three, to de-stress, eliminate the stress factors; hence hijacking the nearest Honda dealer and burning down the Comic House Sdn Bhd publications.

Frowned Upon

On a more stress-free note;

Budak alim : cube awak kerutkan dahi.
Vash : iyarkhhh (berusaha dan berjaya)
Budak alim : hmmmm.. hmmmmm… kerut lagi sikit. Ni tak cukup kerut ni
Vash : err.. tak ckop? Baiklah. IYARRRKHHH
Budak alim : owhh ok ok.. baik, saya dah faham.
Vash : err.. apsal? Sy memang tadek inject Botox mahupon semua jenis plastic surgery. Dahi saya mmg dah sedia licin, saya kan baru 18thn.
Budak alim : ye dahi awak memang best .
Vash : Woh! Maji? Honto desuka.. (Woh! Series?.tipu keras tak agak2..)

Err..mari mencari tikus eksperimen. dahi inachan confirm belipat dengan pnoh cunnyer mcm baju yg baru amek dari dobi yg dkat mcD tuh..cheeps? mesti serabut cam spaghetti ]=P . Mine ? errr who r u kidding? Tadek lipatan langsung! (di ulang..18thn.)
So everybody else, on three now, One.. two.. three….FROWN!!!

The desperate housewives - korean version

Posted by vash1282 on 11/27/2006 07:55:00 PM
yep. there exists a korean version. title's Rude Woman.the series that was claimed to be inspired by the infamous Desperate Housewives. god knows why. only not every walking female innit are desperate like the U.S version.and the heroes and sidekick are all a million times more goodlooking than 5 Mike Delfino jammed together under one sink. The story line got me pulling out my hair ev'ry few seconds and converts me to a screaming banshee whenever i think no one's looking. Becuz the bad guy (Jeong Woong In) innit is a real jerk! I tell ya.. if sumone like that's alive next to me i'll personally tie him up nicely in a pink ribbon- and hang him down his own rooftop.
The plot's all about revenge - but well.. the main reason I watched it, really.. is this other guy hehee. ]=)

in the cowboy town of cyberjaya..

Posted by vash1282 on 11/24/2006 11:45:00 AM
at the one and only foodcourt cum post office cum carwash place in Malaysia's Sillicon Valley..a brawl broke up.

indon : ah..tetapi kau orang Malaysia. Aku orang Indon! maka air kedai aku mempunyai rasa international! seperti kedai kopi starbak itu.
indian : ....
indon : ....
indian : kame...hame....HAAAA!!!!

and that's how the indon came to be sprawling next to my fried rice and iced lemonade.
otai continued eating with his face still on screen saver mode (it's gonna take a naked mermaid sprawling inside his lunch to get him to blink) and adrianna just added yet another reason to her
"why-i-hate-cyberjaya" list.

and that's a start to rather interesting day yesterday .. ;)

owh.. and to inachan.. yes. people do get fat if they eat burgers everyday. and if their diet consists of the highly extended period of 24 hours per month.. they'll get fatter. (^_^)\/

a warehouse-sale to look forward to next month (besides my change of dept. finaly! woohoo)

Posted by vash1282 on 11/20/2006 02:09:00 PM
at this time tomorrow i'll be back in k.l - and the thot is a miserable one.

what am i doing in the middle of nowhere, in the middle of the week? the twins got circumsized yesterday and the whole family just needs to be there to laugh n party. it'll be the only time ever we could see these brats lumbering off to a toilet like a pair of overfed Alaskan bear, laugh our heads off and get away with it. and hey the picss of their teary eyes! I've got excellent stuff to blackmail them for the rest of their life.

the sunday times announced the results of a new research, one that can help track our ancestors. apparently, after studying 33 ethnics groups across the globe, some brilliant scientists concluded that they are 2 types of earwax. Wet or Dry. and we Asian..are more prone to have the dry kinds, while the rest of the world suffers the wet stuff. yeah.. excellent way to spend research money.. might be a year from now, they'll announce some new kinds of earwax. yellow and gooey.. or brown and not gooey.

perceptions n reality

Posted by vash1282 on 11/16/2006 03:40:00 AM
brain was fed by a shitload of dramas.. nope!not the real kind.(not ever)
from those trashy, physchotic drama queens of tree hills, eqomaniac dr house, and increasingly morbid prison break... i kinda lost track of reality for a moment.

dangerously dancing around swirling..murkywaters but i'll never fall into its depth again. slowly n surely.. i'll build a steely gate around myself if i have to. reality? murky waters got lotsa bacterias.

people says what u don't know won't hurt ya..
thus i'm sooo closing my eyes to the world..well..shrink the globe a couple of cm and make that local geography.extremely local. reality ? err.. i just don't want to know!

had another offer to practice whut i actually learned in college...but there's that comfy
cushion holding me back..plus the pay's the same so why should i crack my head open with
the price of the same wad of moolah i have now? the experience? the practice? the actual Stop-Your-Brain-From-Rusting job? nah...

reality? what can i say.. i'm just another lazy ass, educated fool with money on my mind..

going back to the terrabytes of dramas in virtual heaven.

if a hard disk could speak out it's mind.. it'll say " i'm feeling so freaking uncomfortable in my own shell!" of course.. if it could speak out..it wouldn't be dressing in boring gray metal cassings would it? it would be dressed in party gowns.well..assuming that they are females. all those wires n dangers of short circuits.complicated .get it?

well back to the topic of shells..i knew i'm biased when it comes to all things nippon..but this time I would just have to disagree. leave it to the japanese to convert a perfectly good casing into a pac-man-ish looking eggshells.n fluorescent green!! I rest my case.

yeah i know. what senseless babbling. i'd better just take off now! zzz

beep beep..wedding bells r ringing..

Posted by vash1282 on 10/31/2006 01:34:00 PM
on a breezy morning; armed wif a 9mm hotglue shotgun, full body shield, scissors and bucketloads of patience. forcing fake flowers to come together to form a presentable hantaran...which turns out lovely. I'm just the innocent bystander by the way.. ]=)

inachan : awak..nak jadi wedding planner sy tak
me : erm ..errr. nak nak!!

yeah..since i'm so damn knowledgable about weddings rite ( i've been to at least 5 weddings in my life ok..).. why not just plan one.how hard could it be? J.Lo did it wif flying colors and even managed to fall in love wif da the groom along the way (lepak ..not gonna happen)

so let's see.. i should know something.
1. give the guests sumthings to eat..
2. here comes the bride n groom..meeting halfway across the hotsun...parade them towards the buffet table...don't forget the big, fluffy umbrellas..thinking polka dots..
3. let the bride n groom eat...let the photographer take pics of them mushing each other's face..

yeahhh that's about it it rite?errr.. where does the wedding planner comes in? oh yeah.. in the photos of course.

and yeah; the most important part... compiling songs to play while people eat. hmm according to current demands and statistics of makcik2's favaourite..the wedding will be a resounding success if i played strings of strings of korean OSTs... add in a few bollywood numbers and i'll be set. but..that'll be handled by the DJ rite? scratch!

well..no worries... I'll watch For better or for Worse and learn...membaca tangga kejayaan!
(thinking of serving sushis...)

came across a stupid riddle in gaiman's writings...
"what's green..whistles n hangs on the wall?"
ponder? pls do.

grisham's The Innocent Man is out now... i'm on the 5th page.and Left it a few hundred Km away back home. so lacked reading material at the moment...resorting to reading bits of newspaper lining the shelfs at home.

owh. n the portable fan in my room finally submits to my unintentional kickings..it's a peaceful death. just a few strings of swear words - funeral today... gotta shop for a new one.

n how r the festives faring?

Posted by vash1282 on 10/29/2006 04:31:00 AM

Good.considering all the nerdy people (see above pic) studying at evry nook n cranny of my house.. it's actually fun cuz this year we had the most minimal contacts wif the outside world. we visited no more than 3 house this year; heh.. granpa's,uncle's and one neighbour. how's that for minimum exposure?
less hassle.. more time wif the family..and that's what the eid is all about this year (can't say the same for my sis n bro..facing the crazily swinging exam axe)

mood is broken occasionally( of course) by my 'photographic' memory which seems to have nothing else in the buffer but his pics playing continously in slide show mode. the occasional painful stabs becomes more frequent and i probably need to bleach my brain sometimes soon. Add in a spoonful of Fabuloso and my brain will probably be brand new again. I never knew forgetting can be so hard.

so it's back to work. to the dingy world of messy network pathways. Wishing everyone a Selamat Hari Halloween Raya Aidilfitri

last days of buffet-ing..

Posted by vash1282 on 10/21/2006 03:28:00 AM
\(^_^)/
so the ramadhan is nearly over.. well practically over with just 2 days to go .. and we'll see the end of the interesting display of Malaysians (all races buka puasa u know) performing their acts of gluttony everyday at 1900hrs.

u know how they say eating puts u inna good mood?
well.. yesterday.. breaking fast was heavenly indulgence; putting me into sheer choco decadence.. i simply went to bed smiling. hahah.. all thanx to my first experience wif a choc fountain@shangriLa. The food was good.. choices so abundant that I reserved my whole right brain into concentrating on perfecting a number sequence of food procession. To be attacked.and then came dessert. saving the best for the last.

There it was... tall, dark and handsome,(err...no sixpaxs tho)..all tiered, rich choco flowing down so smoothly..it took all my willpower not to just stuck my tounge there and lap it all up (chipox actually offered me a hundred bucks to do that - i should take it up.more part time job won't hurt..heh)

yummy... we should make it an annual event we should. maybe next year we'd get a chance to actually dip the 'kambing golek' at the fountain.

bile langit kl ni nak clear?ujan je tetiap hari..bile nak turun snow plak? bleh la test my new jackets!
langit berkaler purple ...the same dark purple cloud hanging over my head. quoting my barney-infested-brain lil' 4 yr old sis, "i loveee purple. mother do u love purple too?father, do u love purple too? " yeah i love purple like Bush love Iraq. brainwashed by astro she is.

hmm.. tahun ni tadek beli bunga api..n the raya spirit build up wasn't as exciting as previous years.. maybe as people aged more they felt more n more dispirited in embracing the festives? anything to do wif the green moolah packets? hahah maybe. but maybe the raya bug just wasn't flying around the country this year. and my sistas and brothers are all facing upcoming exams..
try and hv a festive spirit wif 3 nerds who have their specs glued to their 3kg textbooks and u'll know what i meant. Try and imagine coaxing them to play the firecrackers and they'll burn u down for wasting their precious minutes.

hmm talking about heavily bespectacled nerds n firecrackers...here's an aunty who was depraved of love when she was a kid, and at 58ys old, was arrested for stealing it. sian..tak ckop kaseh sayang. read it.

so... the upcoming eid? mild.

downsizing the drama

Posted by vash1282 on 10/07/2006 01:45:00 PM
just when i thot all the drama has sizzled down the size of a shrivelled prune..it all bubbled up to the surface again.overflowing and drowning me in the sheer idiocy of it all.
i know u'll think this sounds crappy... but i guess i never left high school after all. what people talks about still mattered. i still go crazy thinking about whut people might think, and i still go sleepless wanting to murder the person who's spreading all this insane stories around.Keep on worrying about all this, and i'll be reduced to a shrivelled prune myself.

'nuff said.. only that i'm drowning my thoughts the usual way (not eating, u dud!) ..shopping! my budget now have a hole the size of Egypt innit. courtesy of some jackets bought on impulse..i hope it'll snow sometimes in M'sia..so that I'll get a chance to wear those beaaauuutiful jackets.Maybe I'll pray for a white Raya this year. And there's a Primavera & Clarks shoe sale going on at the Curve.. if only mom is here..she'd be going cuckoo wif me trying to decide whether to buy a pair or a million.

planning on uploading some delicious pics of food later..and i still hvn't finished the retail theraphy. next on the list..err.jackets. n next on the menu?erm.. makan rumput je la bulan ni.

some interesting read today.. do u know that snakes have penises? ahahah yeah in plural. like two each. and that seals have it too? and it's supposed to be very good for the blood circulation when eaten by us the lowly homo sapiens. I s'posed when ordering this menu..u hv to hv a really strong stomach eh?mainly for the first glimpse of the wrinkly balls and stuffs. Tiger penises cost a whopping £3,000 in China..causing the poor species to run around with missing penises...all probably suffering from low self-esteem now.

had plates of oysters yesterday..simply delicious.sesi mentekedarah yg sungguh hebat.and i'm sure i'm not feeling like a living hell becuz oysters had penises and i ate it by accident..I'm just feeling like a living hell.because ________________ . yikes.

the consumer assoc. of penang must've a roomful of scientists doing nothing but testing foods and shampoos n whatnots of malaysian products to find their abnormalities. I'm still reeling from the previous '75% of facial cleansers contained cancerous inducing substances' finding when this new exposure about malaysian bread hits the eye. read it here.

So the next time i have migraines.. saya akan menyalahkan syarikat syarikat yang menjual daging yg perlu dimakan bersama roti seperti McDonalds dan Burger King. Saya juga akan mula membuat roti sendiri di rumah mulai hari ini. (erm..the japanese do have instant 2-minutes breads rite?)

A Cow's Fanny. In Cyberjaya

Posted by vash1282 on 9/21/2006 01:24:00 PM
almost drove into one. there are COWS on that 'lil corner just before my office building. who's the freaking owner i'd like to know. bringing cows here to breath the fresh air of technology? i was speeding like nobody's business on that last corner, racing against time wif that bloody punching machine that's always clocking 5mins faster - and doing the usual 'chiu' laps and wham!bloody brake. i could practically smell the cow's butt. well no..the air conts are on and all.but u get the picture. i hope all the cows eat those grasses that the indon people faithfully sprayed with pesticides ev'ry freakin' morning and may all the cows die a peaceful death of indigestion.Amin.

owh.. and here's someone that looks like one now. a cow's fanny i mean. and to think we thot he was cute during Malaysian Idol.

yepp.. used to be our motto during those 4 blurry years at MMU. japan number one! joined the anime otakus and even went so far as to take exams for the language(and stalking all japanese looking lengchai..too bad they don't hv the real ones in mmu) now the enthusiasm has dwindled down a bit due to the hoo-hah of korean dramas.. but I've never forgotten our dream to actually visit that country. altho all the ex-housemates are claiming they're all now buzy as hell to pursue this flimsy dreams that was once ours.. so when my officemates started talking about a trip there... well.. why not? Next on the priority list! Japan! gotta start scrimping and saving and yeahh baby I have a new purpose for living!

and the phone keeps on ringing..n my resolve gets weaker by the day..

to cushion yr ass in yr comfort zone? or to take the scary road of trying out a new job? comfort? uncertainty? new job? comfort?and comfort wins everytime. why do i need a new job? the current one is so cushy.. i don't need to think.. the company is as stable as hell, so what if my brain rots a lil more ev'day...i won't have to worry about recession or getting cut off. besides the fact that my brain is shrinking at an alarming rate and i get paid a walnut and a half... it's a good deal.considering the jobscope.
there's still my dream of studying overseas unfulfilled..ade ke company lain yg nak separa sponsor like this current one? heh..banyak nye agenda.

so a new job? i get to use my brain..and my degree will finally have some real use. and the pay will of course be double the current rate.. but they'll be competitions to think off, and i have to really start paying attention to the monthly Malaysian Business mag to find out if my company has finally hit the dust and always have to get ready to hop to another ship.. .. and nanti lagi cepat botak... hmmm hmm...

]=) god bless GLC companies. Making reasonable people unreasonable.. we just love the comfort too much to step out on greener pastures.. or maybe i'm just not ambitious career-wise. or maybe i just love the office politics. ]=P

the japanese finally hv a baby boy in their royal bloodline ..ending the royal family's succession crisis. Pluto is no longer in the Milky way.A hobbit's skeleton was found in Indonesia..sending scientists into headlogs of dispute; the skeleton was 1m tall.. is it true that hobbits (think gay Frodo clans in Lord of the Rings) once resides alongside humans in Indonesia.. or issit just that the Indons memang pendek2 je? Believe it or not two reputable science journals are actualy fighting about it, throwing incessance meaningless jargons at each other.Owh..and the US is accusing the Hizballah group as spreading militants ground and influence in Lebanon because the group is currently the only effective solution to the Lebanese postwar situation. Should Malaysia sent our money and troops so abundantly there, we too would be accused of spreading 'Malaysian Militant' believes.

so many things happening around the world..some of it does not even makes sense. My life now makes even less sense and i'm living a meaningless blur. keje-cd-lepak pj-usha lengchai-keje-cd-lepak pj-keje partime- keje -cd-keje. I wish I am a student once more. There's something very satisfying about being surrounded by books n just having to read and not worry about everything else.

....and me the lifeless zombie bets that those scientists are just wasting their breath debating the obvious.Obviously the indons are really just midgets once upon a time.Certainly not hobbits, or they'll be saying that there was actually a 'Fellowship-of-the-Ring' in Indon next.Or that the skeletons actually belongs to Gollum?heh..precious!

when half of the world is talking about terrorism; one particular region are taking all the blames. On a far side of the globe; the Brits authority claimed to have foiled another big scale terrorist attack on their passenger jets. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to know who the fingers of UK will be pointing to.
The other half of the world is dealing with mother nature's wrath frm famine; viruses;floods.. u name it.. A penpal of mine living in Pakistan says that ev'day they lived in fear of war and nature; and really lived a day like it was the last day of their life.LIVE LIFE TO THE FULLEST is what they do. good advice huh?

Somehow in the midst of it all, Lindsay Lohan announces she will be visiting the land of Africa, and is inviting her frens over. yep u heard rite. the fake 'lil blondie wif chipmunk voice wanna have a lil slumber party in the land of A.she probably thinks the world is stupid enuff to believe she's purely concerned on the people's plight there...not to prance around her fake boobs and add a few inches of column to her name?

well i guess i'm no better. my worry is not of war.neither of food nor other people.i'm consumed wif hving fun and trying to forget.so on a scale of 1 to 10.. i'd rate myself 0 on the compassion factor.
